Banner_ExtraLarge_FINAL_no_logos_v2_1180The Nautique Canadian Wake Surf Nationals, held July 31 – August 2, 2015,  is the premier wake surfing event in Canada.  Evolving from its inaugural year as the Calabogie Wake Surf Championship and 2014’s Canadian Wake Surf Nationals, it will once again be held at the Calabogie Peaks Resort on Calabogie Lake, Ontario, Canada.

The Canadian Wake Surf Nationals is founded and directed by Steve Karam, an avid wake surfer and Partner at Systemscope, a leading consulting firm, headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.  The Great Canadian Wake Surf Group, headed by Steve, has again been granted a spot on the 2015 World Series of Wake Surfing Tour.

Wake surfing is a rapidly growing sport that has taken the world by storm.  Associations and tournaments are growing year over year, as evidenced by the World Series 2015 lineup that includes Russia, Germany, Switzerland, Brazil, several US stops, and three Canadian events – including Calabogie Lake, Ontario.  The World Series events are important qualifiers that will culminate at the 2015 World Wake Surfing Championship being held in Parker, Arizona, boasting a purse of $100,000 cash and prizes.
