Bio

Impressed by all new experiments of life, I have traveled since I was 17 years old to research the best places in the world to practice the sports with which I am in love : wake surfing, wakeboarding, surfing and snowboarding.   I discovered wakeboarding in 1999 and since then, I’ve been hooked. I spent 3 winters in Florida to practice wakeboarding intensively, attending Nick and Julz Wakeboard School – “Two of America’s top pros riders”. In 2004, I founded HI-5 wakeboard school in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada.   In the past 4 years, I’ve become recognized while taking part in several events. Recently, I finished 5th at the Canadian Championship of wakeboarding.  In 2008, I went to the World Wake Surfing Championship in Nashville TN,  where I finished in the 2nd position.  I spent winter 2006-2007 in Florida and winter 2007-2008-2009 in Argentina devote all my time to practice wake surfing, which helped me improve a lot. In this discipline, now I can land tricks at the international pro level including “360 Shuvit”, “Back side Big Spin”, “Switch Front Side Big Spin”, “1080”, “Switch 360”, “Switch 540” and several others. I ride a lot in the switch position, what it makes my competitive advantage.  I am very dynamic, no-holds-barred type who travels everywhere throughout the world and who lives only for the sport. I speak French, English and Spanish.

I look forward to seeing you all in Calabogie in July!

See one of Dominic’s runs below … watch for his famous “Hurricane” spin…
