Director, Canadian Wake Surf Nationals
After winning the 2013 World Series of Wake Surfing Event Organizer of the Year on behalf of his team for the Calabogie Wake Surf Championship at the World Wake Surf Gala in Las Vegas, Steve has evolved the event to the Canadian Wake Surf Nationals.  Steve’s job is to make sure everything is in place to build on the success of our 2013 event, made easier only by the fact that he’s surrounded himself with an amazing team.
Associate Event Director
Scott was instrumental in our 2013 event, leading the site logistics and taking charge for many key event activities.  Those who know Scott know that he’s a can-do kind of guy, always finding a solution to every challenge.  This makes him a valued team member in helping to run what is considered a premier qualifying stop on the World Series of Wake Surfing Tour.  He’ll be reprising his role of Associate Event Director for the 2014 Canadian Wake Surf Nationals.
Director, Marketing & Promotions
New to the team this year is Gina, who is no stranger to event planning or wake surfing.  Having competed at the Calabogie event last year and at the World Championships in Las Vegas, Gina knows how these events run and is taking the reins this year on our marketing and promotion campaign, which makes use of both social and traditional media.  She will be your gateway to all information and promotions related to the event!
Head of Volunteer Services
Known at last year’s event as “Toby Keith”, Kevin has a knack for leadership and organization, key traits for the person in charge of our valued volunteers.  He’s also a great boat driver, having driven for last year’s clinics and for most competitors in the event.  Kevin’s involvement with the event for this year is to once again make sure we have a well-oiled machine to execute the event to the delight of sponsors, competitors and spectators.
Head of Sponsorship Activities
Returning for another year is Kyle, the “opener”.  You may remember Kyle from last year as the guy who spent a lot of time on the mic on the beach, calling the riders’ tricks and keeping everyone informed.  What you didn’t know was that Kyle was instrumental in opening the doors to signing many sponsors who were seen on the beach during the event.  Kyle reprises his role for the 2014 Canadian Wake Surf Nationals.
